Who We Are

History of Rotary Club of Brownsville Sunrise

Founded in 1986, Brownsville Sunrise Rotary Club now counts with —- community leaders among its members. The first president was Rusty Faulk and three of its original charter members are still involved with the club to this day!

Brownsville Sunrise meets weekly to share fellowship, build friendships and listen to influential and intriguing guest speakers. Members participate in about — service projects that bring on average $— a year. The fundraised monies are given back to the community in the form of grants to local non-profit organizations, scholarships, and international servicing projects.

We are an active, enthusiastic group and are always on the lookout for other like-minded individuals who want to have a positive impact in the community as well.

What We Do

Service Above Self

Members of the Rotary Club of Brownsville Sunrise believe that being of service to our club, community and the world is the best way to build successful businesses and deeply satisfying personal lives.

In the process we develop lifelong friendships and strong networking relationships by meeting other local Rotarians, use our professional expertise to better serve the community and advance international understanding and goodwill.

Rotarians follow high ethical standards as embodied by the 4-Way Test:

  • It is the TRUTH?
  • It is FAIR to all concerned?
  • Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
